Westside Elementary is excited to celebrate Career and College Day this Friday, April 24th. It is a special opportunity designed to help students begin thinking about the many paths their futures could take. Through engaging activities, guest speakers, and classroom discussions, students will explore a variety of careers and learn about the education and skills needed to achieve their goals. This day encourages curiosity, builds awareness, and inspires students to start dreaming about what they can become, helping them see the connection between what they learn today and the opportunities that await them tomorrow.
Students can wear their favorite college gear or dress up like a job they are interested in.

La Escuela Primaria Westside se complace en celebrar el Día de las Carreras y la Universidad este viernes 24 de abril. Es una oportunidad especial diseñada para ayudar a los estudiantes a comenzar a pensar en los muchos caminos que su futuro puede tomar. A través de actividades atractivas, oradores invitados y discusiones en el aula, los estudiantes explorarán una variedad de carreras y aprenderán sobre la educación y las habilidades necesarias para alcanzar sus metas. Este día fomenta la curiosidad, desarrolla la conciencia e inspira a los estudiantes a comenzar a soñar con lo que pueden llegar a ser, ayudándoles a ver la conexión entre lo que aprenden hoy y las oportunidades que les esperan mañana.
Los estudiantes pueden usar ropa de su universidad favorita o vestirse como un trabajo que les interese.
